On Telegram, your chat ID is a numeric value that identifies you. This is not the same as your username, but you need to have a username set in order to find your chat ID. Groups also have a unique chat ID. You can use bots to find your personal chat ID or the chat ID for a group you are an administrator for. This wikiHow teaches you how to find a chat ID.

Open the Telegram app on your Android. The Telegram icon looks like a white paper plane inside a blue circle. You can find it on your phone or tablet's Apps menu.
